I love the color and the way that the eye is drawn downward to the focused flower. Beautiful job. When looking at the focused flower I am reminded that each of those other flowers is just as detailed and intricate. However, this makes me want to see more of the other flowers and have a sort of flow from focus to unfocused. Also, the left side of the image (our left) seems a bit heavy and dark and could be cropped out. My eye tends to be drawn to the dark spot in the left corner the most, but I really love how it seems to be a windy warm sunny day. Wonderful Job on this piece!
Rating explanation: Vision: 4.5 - Unique perspective in the photo makes it eye catching and entertaining. However the darker areas in the picture draw the eye away causing slight distraction. Originality: 5 - Flowers are flowers and as pretty as they are your originality comes from your perspective and ability to create a special image. You did a wonderful job with this. Technique: 4 - Due to the composition having dark spots that draw the eye away from the intended subject. Simply cropping the area out may help. It is not needed for contrast as the dark leaves take care of that. Impact: 5 - Stunning photo. I love the colors, perspective, and depth of field you used. Nice job!
